Charlotte Hess at Charleston Fashion Week

Last year, American knitwear designer Charlotte Hess moved back to Philadelphia from Glasgow. She studied at Glasgow School of Art and hopes to return later this year.

Currently knitting for Free People as well as her own label Isobel and Cleo, Charlotte entered the "Emerging Designers" competition at Charleston Fashion Week.

She emailed me last week to say she's made it through to the semifinal round and on March 22nd will show her collection and compete with the other designers at Charleston Fashion Week.
