CHANEL Paris-Édimbourg Métiers d'Art 2012/13 Fashion Show at Scotland's Linlithgow Palace
Karl Lagerfeld explains why he chose to show in Scotland on Tuesday. The Chanel Métiers d'Art show celebrated the ongoing strong historical links the fashion house has with traditional Scottish crafts and textiles. Coco Chanel's own visits to Scotland also inspired this collection which Karl described as an "Anti-stiletto collection" and "...a kind of romantic look, with a touch of cruelty".
