Hauling myself, my camera and a glass of wine up onto the rooftop of Che Camille for one last time, I quietly contemplate what a wonderful chapter it's been for Camille and the team in this amazing unit high above the swanky diamond stores of the Argyll Arcade. You simply wouldn't believe the people who've been up on this roof...
"Careful Robin. Both hands on the Bat-rope."
"Sorry Batman."
"Alfred, how's the satellite picture?"
"Splendid. I can almost see your pointy ears Sir"
Catwoman: "Let no one say that Catwoman is not the best-dressed woman in the world."
Batman: "There are no fashion shows where you're going Catwoman."
Robin: "And how could a feline temptress like you also be a fashion model?
Batman: "Ah-ah. Give credit where credit's due Robin. She may be evil, but she is attractive. You'll know more about that in a couple of years."
Dick: "Gosh, economics is sure a dull subject."
Bruce: "Oh, you must be jesting Dick. Economics dull? The glamour, the romance of commerce...Hmm. It's the very lifeblood of our country's society."
Meanwhile, on the other side of town and in the shadow of the famous Barrowland Ballroom...
"Tune in next week for Che Camille at The Barras... Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel."
What illumination on those pictures. Hope the sequel venue holds up after this!
