Let's Get Technical - with Nigel Munro

"I'm here to pick up a ring I ordered, but I'm afraid I can't remember the designer's name".

"Oh, it's me", replies Nigel Munro modestly...
Nigel's the Technician at Glasgow School of Art's Jewellery Department and creates a piece for the Christmas sale each year.

The three red 'compacted coral' beads are the colour of ripe redcurrants and can be rotated in their futuristic silver 'pea-pod' like the beads of an abacus. 'Bead swiveling' can be quite addictive, I've come to discover!

  1. This ring is not something I would pick for myself, but I do appreciate the almost architectual beauty of it.:-)
